DuoSTATION® MDM v4.8.25 contains new features, optimizations and bug fixes. Here are the most important changes.
Android
Disassociate or change MGP account
If you need to change MGP account (Managed Google Play) on one or more devices, you need to firstly disassociate existing MGP account.
Select devices in the view Devices and use Actions>Google Play>Assign enterprise for selected devices …:
Select < no enterprise > to disassociate the MGP account.
Available apps in Play
Before it was possible to use MGP to select which apps that should be available in Play for one device. Now it’s possible to do that for multiple devices.
Select the devices in the view Devices and use Actions>Google Play>Select available apps for selected devices ….
Location
For some Android device it takes a long time to determine the location of the device. That is because of the service Google Location Accuracy is inactive on the device. Now an action is displayed that helps the user to activate this service.
When enrolling the device to MDM a question is also displayed that helps the user to activate Google Location Accuracy.
Configurations
Tag filtering
We have added the possibility to filter the list of configurations on a specific tag.
Wifi
iOS/iPadOS 14 introduced randomization of MAC addresser for wifi connections. It’s activated as default and can now be deactivated.
