DuoSTATION MDM 4.8.49 is here

DuoSTATION® MDM v4.8.49 contains new features and bug fixes. Here are the most important ones.

Configurations

  • Now it’s possible to include the main IMEI of the device in configurations by using the variable %DEVICE_IMEI_NUMBER%.

  • Possibility to allow/prevent password sharing using AirDrop with the restriction “Allow sharing passwords with AirDrop”.

  • Possibility to allow/prevent Apple Private Relay on Apple devices with the restriction “Allow private relay”.

  • Possibility to allow/prevent sharing WiFi networks on Android 13+ devices with the restriction “Allow user to share managed wifi settings”.

Enrollment

We have added support to enroll Android devices using QR code.

  • Create and edit QR codes in “Settings” to use in the the view “Devices”:
  • Show and use QR codes in the view “Devices” using “Actions>Provision enrollment for Android devices by QR code …”:

Layout

  • To make it easier to follow the command flow in the view “Commands”, loaded and active commands are now displayed in a blue and italic text.

  • Support for “dark mode” in the MDM apps for iOS, Android and macOS.

  • Support for “dark mode” in “App uploader” for macOS.

  • Added a new setting in “Settings” for an alternative logotype, which will be used in the MDM apps in “dark mode”.

  • We have created “dark mode” versions of all our customers logotypes.

Tags

  • Now change permission is sufficient to open “Tag details” and to change tags on devices and users.

  • Added right-click commands in “Tag details” to copy serial numbers and export devices to Excel.

Groups

  • Added new fields for groups: id/number and notes. These values can also be changed by using API:
  • It’s now possible to add values on a group level for the feature “lost mode”. If any group contains these values, the values in the nearest group will be used when activating “lost mode”. Otherwise the values in “Settings” will be used:

API

Added new parameters for adding and updating the new group fields.
