DuoSTATION® MDM v4.8.46 contains new features and bug fixes. Here are the most important ones.
Simplified system updates for Apple devices
We have replaced the command “Schedule OS updates for selected devices …” with two new commands.
“Download available update för selected devices …”
Devices, where downloading/updating/installation is not going on, will download latest available system update.
“Install downloaded update för selected devices …”
Devices, where update has been downloaded, will install the downloaded system update.
Set tags on groups
Now it’s possible to set tags on groups:
When a tag is set on a group, that tag will be included/handled in the similar way as tags set on user or device.
The tag set for the group will be included/handled for that group and for users and devices in all subgroups.
Since it’s now possible to set tags on both group, user and device, we have made it clearer to see which tags are active.
If the tag is set on the group above and the tags are set on the user below:
The tags set on group-level and on user-level will be displayed along with the tags set on the device in “Device details”:
New feature and improvements in API
– Added features to list, add and remove tags from groups
– Added USER_NAME in the GET-call for UserTag
– Added SERIAL_NUMBER in the GET-call for DeviceTag

Hide standard login
For customers that wants to use Azure or SAML authentication only, it’s now possible to hide standard loging fields on the start page.
Also it’s possible to activate Azure or SAML authentication automatically.
